Description

A small way off the beaten path, in the middle of a college campus, there is a fountain. It’s a tiny thing with a quiet voice. Often it is drowned out by its elder cousin across the way, the one you can hear from the other side of campus. If you seek this little fountain, though, while out on a walk some warm autumn evening, and pause to sit beside it; if you close your eyes, lean close, and take the time to listen, you can hear what it has to say. It doesn’t boast of itself, no. Instead, it whispers just what the other smothered voices in our life have to say. As it bubbles to itself, it softly repeats the secrets of the universe.
